Amphomul

AMPHOMUL AMPHOMUL (Amphotericin B Emulsion) is a sterile, yellow coloured liquid for intravenous infusion containing Amphotericin B suspended in an oil-in-water emulsion available in 50 mg/10 ml preparation. Amphomul is a proprietory product of BSV and has various formulation patents (U.S., Europe, South Africa, Japan, Australia etc.) The major goal of developing ABLE has been to attain a novel AmB preparation with lower toxicity and with at least similar efficacy compared to the parent compound, amphotericin B deoxycholate, at an economic price so that its benefits can be extended to the masses.
