The measurement element of this positive displacement oval gear meters consists of two precision oval gears. The revolution can be sensed by a magnetic-field-controlled pulse generator, resulting in only two moving parts i.e “oval-wheels”. The fluid to be measured passes through the oscillating element. Excited electro-magnetically, it will oscillate with its natural frequency. The frequency will be picked up by the transmitter and converted into a signal proportional to density or concentration.
