Dual Element Stator Winding Rtds |
Dual element stator winding RTDs provide extra protection for motors and generators. The second element can be a back up in case of damage, or use one element for input to a temperature display at the machine and the other for control room monitoring. Standard models are available with thickness options of 0.030 to 0.125", with sensing elements to match most instrumentation. |

Roller Wheel Moving Surface Thermocouple |
Type K ( Chromel / Alumel ), Temp range -250 to 260°C , Probe length 2.4", Cable length 3 ft, Connections mini-connector, Junction exposed These probes are designed for monitoring a wide range of flat surfaces. Choose from a variety of surface probes—standard, angled for hard-to-reach areas, heavy-duty, or special-purpose surface probes for specific applications. These probes include a handle; strain relief spring on handle protects the cable connection against damage due to repeated flexing and tugging. Probes include handle with strain relief spring and feature color-coded ANSI mini-connectors: type K—yellow |

Thermowells |
Thermowells are recommended to protect both the operator and the temperature sensor. The proper thermowell will reduce the possibility of damage to the temperature sensor due to corrosion, pressure or the flow of abrasive or viscous media. In addition a defective instrument may be removed without shutting down or draining the process. Most wells have 1/2" process & instrument connections with a 0.260" bore. Wells with other dimensions and materials are readily available on order. |
