HYDEN Pilot Coating Machine is a small modular machine, which allows to use different coating systems (Meyer-bar, knife over roll, air knife, hot-melt slot die applicator) and consequently to reproduce many production technologies according to different substrates to use, products to apply and final items to make.

It Includes :

Single unwinding unit, with mechanical brakes and manual alignment set-up, by means of a pneumatic expansion shaft.
Meyer-bar, with coat width control edges and possibility to vary the feeding roll contact angle by changing film feeding roll position.
Alternatively you can install a knife-over-roll coating module, for substrates requiring high viscosities. This unit has a precise micrometric control of thickness and two side nylon edges to control the coating width.
Alternatively we can supply an air-knife coating unit, suitable for high speed coating.
2 meter long drying oven, electrically heated, with two independent heat regulations; materials lay on free turning steel rolls.
Driving and laminating unit, including a calendar with driving chrome treated cylinder and a free silicone rubber coated cylinder.
Additional unwinding unit, similar to 1. for liners or second substrate feeding.
Blade slitting unit, suitable for cutting 300 mm rolls down to lower widths.
A two frictioned driving shafts rewinder, allowing the rewinding tension adjustment of coated materials and their collection on both shafts, with two special rolls eliminating surface irregularities.

We can supply also a hot-melt coating device, based on a slot die applicator, gravure coating or reverse roll coating for the application of hot melt adhesives.

eventually combined with the application of water/solvent release agents.

We can supply also a flexo / gravure - printing unit for multi colours printing.
