Company was founded by Late Shri Lalit Lalji Shah in 1970 as a small Electroplating unit in Andheri (E) Sakinaka. Shri Lalit Lalji Shah Policy of persistent hard work, emphasis on achieving customer satisfaction through adherence to quality standard, ensured company has constantly grown, and has earned the reputation of being the largest Hard Chrome Plating / Grinding facility in India.

1977- 1st HMT Grinding Machine

 

1979- 2nd HMT Grinding Machine

 

1980 – Churchil Cylindrical Grinding Machine

 

1984 – Naxous Union Cylindrical Grinding Machine

 

1987 – 10000 Amp Rectifier with Electronic Controls purchased

 

1988 – Introduced Mirror Finishing of Rolls Using German Machines

 

1994 – Heavy Rolls Grinding and Fabrication Workshop started in Mira Road under the name of Vimal Chrome Tech Pvt. Ltd, with WMW Lathe and Waldrich Roll grinder

 

1995 – Waldrich Roll Grinding Machine

 

1997 – Naxous Union cylindrical Grinding Machine

 

2002 – Naxous Union Roll Grinding Machine

 

2008 – Specialized Hard Chrome Plating Factory started in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai with separate sections for Mass Production and Separate section for Heavy Rolls, under the name of Sonak Surface Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

 

2010 – Started new Roll Manufacturing unit in Kaman, Vasai.
