The electrical and mechanical design of ABB motors offers high performance values in all mounting arrangements, protection class and applications.
Insulation scheme
ABB low voltage motors employ a unique polyamide based class F insulation scheme rated for 1550C with temperature rise limited to class B. The advanced insulation of our motors gives high electrical and mechanical stability.
Winding
Motors are wound using high quality round enamelled wires conforming to IS:13730. To ensure long life, the stators are impregnated with a solventless resin resulting in good thermal
conductivity and high mechanical strength.
Marathon Motors
Type C standard 3 phase Sq.cage screen protected motors are suitable for general industrial application in non-hazardous and relatively clean surrounding, free from any abrasive or conducting dust or chemical fumes.Standard motors are suitable for relative humidities normally encountered in temperature conditions. For more severe conditions special finishes are available.

Bharat Bijlee Motor
The BBL range of energy efficient motors Type " MH" are from 1.1 Kw ( Frame 90S) to 18.5 Kw ( Frame 160L). Use of these motors can lead to substantial reduction in energy costs. B.B.L Motors

Crompton Greaves Motor
Crompton Greaves squirrel cage crane duty motors are specially designed for service on cranes and hoists they can also be used for similar applications such as material handling, weirs and lifts of all types. These motors can serve as auxiliary motors in rolling mills or where ever intermittent drives are required.
These are duty type rated motors developing high staring torque with low starting current. These motors are suitable for frequent starts/stops are reversals. Also rapid acceleration is achieved by high pull out torque/rotor inertia ratio.

Bharat Bijlee Motors
Crane and Hoist duty motors from Bharat Bijlee are ideal for frequent starts/stops and reversing. They are also used for applications such as material handling, weirs and sluices, lifts of all types and auxiliary motors in rolling-mills or wherever intermittent drives are required. They conform to IS : 325 for Three-phase Induction Motors and IS : 4722 for Rotating Electrical Machines.

Crompton Greaves

Elecon Worm Gear
Elecon single reduction gear units are the result of many years of experience. Completely re-designed gear case with liberal ribbing increases heat dissipating area, streamlined sump carrying more oil and larger capacity of fan enhance the thermal rating of the gearbox. All this means that the continuous load carrying capacity is increased without substantial rise in temperature. No more opening of gearbox for hand changing, just replace the fan and fancowl from one end to other end of worm shaft.

Siti Gearboxes
Features:
- Gearboxes equipped with trains of gears at three stages of reduction.
- The three stages of reduction consist of: on the input side, one helical gear pair, with involute profile, accurately corrected for improved strength; in the middle, one bevel gear pair with spiral Gleason Toothing (duplex type); one cylindrical final gear pair, with involute profile, accurately corrected in view of an improved strength.
- These gearboxes are made in 8 sizes: 63 - 80 - 100 - 125 - 140 - 160 - 180 - 200.
- Rated transmissible torques range from 280 Nm to 14000 Nm.
- Load capacities of toothing comply with DIN 3990, UNI 8862, AGMA 2001 B88 norms and the ISO 6336 draft proposal, both with the surface pitting resistance and the tooth root bending strength calculation, in view of an accurately balanced and extremely high nominal life.
- The output shafts of sizes 63, 80, 100, 125 are supported by radial ball bearings; on request, taper roller bearings can be fitted on these sizes. On the contrary, taper roller bearings are standard on the sizes 140, 160, 180, 200.
- The whole range of gears is made in case hardening steel (18NiCrMo5 or material equivalent in strength and harden ability) and submitted to case hardening, quenching and stress-relieving, to give high resistance to static and dynamic loads and to wear.
- Hollow output shafts (standard solution) are made in steel.
- Solid output shafts (optional) are made in hardening and tempering steel 42CrMo4 or materials assuring similar properties.
- Housings are built in G25 cast iron according to UNI 5007 specifications.
- Dynamic efficiencies are very high: 0.92.
- It is allowed to operate in particularly severe conditions of application, still saving sufficiently satisfactory life times; in connection with this, we recommend to strictly adhere to the indications of our technical catalogue and, if in doubt, to contact our technical dept.
