We manufacture EPDM rubber gaskets which is specially developed for use in the radiator tanks. It has excellent resistance to compressive stress relaxation at temperature 125°C and splitting or bursting under combined conditions of compressive strains upto 60% temperature -135°C. It also has good resistance to ethylene glycol based engine coolants-1000 hrs at 125°C. The material can successfully meet with heat aging requirement of 125°C for 1000 hours. Gasket in EPDM rubber are used in a radiator of a three wheeler manufactured by an Italian manufacturer. This material revealed no dimensional variation or deformation in a test which involved 30m. in boiling water.
