Extruded Profiles

We Classic Rubber Products are experts in u-channel extrusions, and we specialize in supplying extruded rubber shapes, extruded rubber seals and extruded rubber profiles, An extruded rubber product differs from a molded rubber product in that the uncured rubber is forced through a die of the desired cross-section under pressure from an extruder. 

The extruded product is then vulcanized, or cured, in a heated pressure vessel known as an autoclave, The elastomers used in our standard rubber extrusions are either weather resistant EPDM or SBR.

Silicone, Neoprene, Viton and Buna-N are also available if your unique application requires a higher level of performance. Custom compounds and profiles are our specialty. Extruded parts can be made in sizes ranging from 1/8" in diameter to a rectangular cross-section of up to 6" by 12" and in continuous lengths or cut to length.
