It is also known as Ferrous chloride tetra hydrate. It is an iron salt ranging in concentration from 22% to 30%. 
Ferrous chloride contains the Fe2 ion, with a formula of FeCl2. Specific gravity is cusomised as per customers requirement range from 1.210 to 1.410

It is the Best Substitute of Luster/ferric chloride, used in specific field like glass bangles manufacturing. Ferrous chloride Liquid is traditionally used in ETP/wastewater treatment Industries to remove phosphate and control / eliminate sulfide-based odor.

Uses :

Ferrous chloride has a variety of niche applications, but the related compounds ferrous sulfate and ferric chloride enjoy more applications. Aside from use in the laboratory synthesis of iron complexes, ferrous chloride serves as a reducing flocculating agent in wastewater treatment, especially for wastes containing chromate. It is the precursor to hydrated iron(III) oxides that are magnetic pigments. Ferrous chloride is employed as a reducing agent in many organic synthesis reactions.
