A charge air cooler (also known as an intercooler) is used to cool engine air (used for combustion of fuel) after it has passed through a turbocharger, but before it enters the engine.
Apollo offers two methods of cooling the turbocharged air:

Apollo has designed many compact aluminum coolers which are combination coolers such as:

Apollo has designed heat exchangers for Refrigerated Air Dryers to dry the compressed air. Apollo has designed 4 models of CPNR for compressor capacity of:

• 100 CFM
• 200 CFM
• 300 CFM
• 1000 CFM

These can be cascaded together in parallel for higher capacity compressors. e.g Six units each of 1000 CFM capacity heat exchangers together can be used for a compressor of 6000 CFM

Heat Sink Panel Coolers are used in electronic cabinets to remove heat from control cabinet units in locomotives.

In air compressors, increase in pressure of air leads to the increase of the air temperature also. Apollo offers air cooled heat exchanger in aluminum construction to cool the compressed air close to the ambient temperature with minimum pressure drop.

Inter cooler & After Cooler are compact aluminum brazed heat exchangers that cool the compressed air at different stages. Heat Exchanger Spares of reciprocating compressors are also available for all popular brands.

Radiator is used to cool engine coolant (jacket water) & maintain temperature of coolant within limits. Apollo is one of the most reliable radiator manufacturers that offers two types of radiator:
