Hexagonal Belts |
Construction:
Hexagonal V-belts also known as Double V-belts.
They can be in simple terms considered as two v- belts joined back to back.
The neutral axis containing the tension cord is exactly half way up the section.
The polyester tension cord placed at the center of this belt provides extreme flexibility & low stretch properties. It is because of this positioning of the cord the same is not subjected to any other forces as in the case of normal V- Belts.
