In practically all the applications the cartridge element is inserted into a metal part which in turn heats, melts, forms seals or stamps metal or any other material. 

Sense well cartridge heaters are of robust construction and consist of high grade alloy, spiral elements evenly stretched and threaded through an assembly of suitable fluted refractory bobbins. These elements are sheathed in treated seamless brass tubes of required outer diameter and filled with fused magnesia.
