Customized designs

On customer's request we produce customized designs on modern CNC milling machines (juice groove, juice collector, blood gutter, grooves for all table systems) and assemble e.g. with anti-slip feet or metal handles.

Colours

Durostone® PCB solder pallets

A good example to show the precision of our machining are Durostone® PCB solder pallets. They are used to fix electronic components on printed circuit boads using the wave soldering process. The design of the solder pallets is exactly adjusted to the design of the printed circute board.

Durostone® PCB Solder Pallet Materials

Durostone® materials have been developed for all procedures within the PCB assembly process. There are three main grades which are suitable for use in the SMT reflow and wave soldering processes, Durostone® CHP760, CAS761 & CAG762.

These materials offer the following features:

Excellent mechanical properties at elevated temperatures including the lead-free process.
Low thermal conductivity.
Excellent machining properties enabling the manufacture of complex design solder pallets.
Good resistance to chemicals used in modern fluxes.

Durostone® Harsh environments

A combination of flux, temperature and process cycles can result in the degradation of the standard Durostone® grades of material. The solution is Durostone® CFR767 which has been specifically formulated for use with aggressive fluxes and high process temperatures.

The resin used to produce Durostone® CFR767 can withstand temperatures up to 300°C. The decision to use Durostone® CFR767 over one of the standard grades is made when the solder bath temperature exceeds 265°C and the bottom side PCB pre-heat exceeds 140°C.

Durostone® CFR767 has excellent flux resistance. When fluxes containing halides or dicarboxylic acids are used in high volume production the lifespan of the standard grades of material can be reduced so Durostone® CFR767 is an ideal solution.

DuroProtect® – Fibre reinforced materials
The distinctive features of the fibre-reinforced material DuroProtect® are its excellent protection against large-calibre small arms and its particular resistance to extremely strong mechanical forces. In addition, DuroProtect® is extremely good at inhibiting blast effects.

LignoProtect® – Wood-based materials
The wood-based material LignoProtect® offers excellent protection against small arms with medium-sized calibres and is particularly resistant to extremely strong mechanical forces. At the same time, LignoProtect® is good at inhibiting blast effects. 

Properties - ballistic panels

Ballistic panels from Röchling made of DuroProtect® and LignoProtect® offer you unique properties not found elsewhere on the market and offer strong advantages over conventional materials such as steel.

Inhibits full penetration: Depending on the material, ballistic sheets made of DuroProtect® and LignoProtect® offer excellent protection against fire from medium- and large-calibre small arms.
 

Low weight: DuroProtect® and LignoProtect® have a considerably lower density compared to conventional materials. This gives them significant weight advantages and allows easy handling.
 

Thermal insulation: DuroProtect® and LignoProtect® provide thermal insulation by virtue of their low thermal conductivity. That makes them particularly suitable for use in areas with extremely high and low temperatures.

Inhibits blasting and offers protection against splintering: Attacks using IEDs are becoming more and more frequent. Ballistic panels made of DuroProtect® and LignoProtect® are extremely effective at inhibiting blast and protect against splintering. DuroProtect® and LignoProtect® absorb splinters caused by shots and impacts and embed them safely in the material.
 

Fire safety: DuroProtect® and LignoProtect® are available in flame-resistant and self-extinguishing versions.
 

Long service life: The distinctive properties of DuroProtect® and LignoProtect® are their high strength against aggressive chemicals, resistance to UV and corrosion, and resistance to wear.
