Incepted in 1983. Polytech started mould making for Mutual Industries. Polytech developed several moulds for TV Industries for brands like SOLIDAIRE, CROWN, ONIDA, DYNORA & Home Theatre Speaker Moulds for SHARP and ONIDA

Polytech was the first mould maker to develop moulds for VARROC INDUSTRIES & BAJAJ AUTO COMPONENTS. We made many automotive moulds for MARUTI SUZIKI, ESCORTS – YAMAHA, TELCO and HERO HONDA,

Polytech has made many moulds for white good industry for ELECTROLUX – KELVINATOR,RECOLD WATER HEATERS,VIDEOCON & GODREJ APPLIANCES. We have developed many moulds for business machines.

Polytech developed first air cooler moulds and cooler moulds in India for COMFORT COOLERS,VIDEOCON & SYMPHONY. We also made first tall cooler moulds in India.

Polytech is making entire range of executive chair mould components. We are specialised in making mould for nylon glass filled chair base moulds. Polytech has made moulds for KI – KRUGGER: Seat & Back Cover for their furniture division.

PROCESS FOR NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Polytech has a skilled Engineering Department composed of engineers with tried experience and competence who assist the Customer in the choice of design, materials and in the structural evaluation of both final plastic items and moulds.

DESIGN

A team of designers and stylists cooperate with the Customer to define the outer style of new product lines, proposing different solutions in order to fulfill completely the requirements

ENGINEERING

Applying the state of the art IT processes, software and applications, Polytech supplies the Customer with the drawings of the final plastic products, both rendered 2D and 3D, as well as with physical model, so to fulfill the requirements with the utmost accuracy. We have a batch of skilled designers who are proficient in the design software such as UG, Pro-E, Solidworks etc.. We can exactly express the design purpose of our customer from design idea to the form of products concept, then to one time molding of metaphase construction assembly. With the advanced CAD/CAM/CAE software, we collaborate closely with our customers on all aspects of the programs so as to develop the best designed molds that are easy to maintain and plastic components that are cost-effective to produce.

PLANNING

Polytech can also supply the customer with a preliminary production of pilot moulds. The planning stage of the moulds is focused on the smallest details and on the choice of the most suitable materials, in order to reach the best performance and assure the highest reliability.

RAPID PROTOTYPING

Polytech offers a special software simulation (like Mould Flow) to reach the optimal part weight and cycle time reduction and a quick prototyping of parts through the use of a dedicated one-cavity pilot mould, so the enable the Customer a real, operational and functional evaluation of its target part before starting the final mould manufacturing phase.

TESTING AND SET-UP

Polytech carries out the preliminary test of the moulds in it facilities.The customer, that Polytech likes to consider a close and effective partner throughout the development of the project, has the opportunity to directly verify at any time the work in progress of his supply.
