OFI’s real time gas evaluation systems offer considerable accuracy that help in taking critical on site drilling decisions. It is rugged & field proven equipment, used in Exploration, Production and Refinery Sectors. System consists of FID/TCD Gas Chromatograph (GC) with sensitivity in PPM . Fast GC helps in the identification of thin zones which are very valuable in marginal fields. This GC is also very valuable in Geosteering. It is provided with Audio visual alarm facility for critical situations. Data from the Gas Detector are saved in the Real Time Computers & Integrated for the Peak values.

Measurement-While-Drilling (MWD) systems measure formation properties (e.g., resistivity, natural gamma ray, porosity), wellbore geometry (inclination, azimuth), drilling system orientation (toolface), and mechanical properties of the drilling process.

Traditionally, MWD has paralleled and surpassed other aspects of drilling technology to the extent that it is now possible to replace very sophisticated Wireline logs with real-time and memory-stored measurements while drilling .

OFI has a technical collaboration for providing Directional Drilling Services in India. The mud motors used for directional drilling are out-sourced from leading international vendors.

When it comes to digitization -wheather Log or Map OFI has professionals who understand the complexities of petroleum industry.

The output is provided on Floppy Disk, Magnetic Tapes or on paper on any Scale & Width.

The digitized data can be written in format compatible with most geological software including Autocad (DXF), Geoquest (CPS), Landmark Graphics (Z-map plus, Openwork), ARC/Info, SEG-Y.

OFI also provides Log Plotting Services where any valuable digitized data is converted into graphic form and it is combined with other graphs for quick and easy interpretations.
