Hydraulic Oil Cooler

An hydraulic oil cooler is a device designed to prevent oil used in hydraulic systems from overheating. This is a critical function in hydraulic systems, as overheating of the oil can lead to a drop in system efficiency and excessive wear of the system components in general due to reduced oil viscosity.

In most cases, the coolers allow the oil to shed accumulated thermal energy into a secondary medium, typically water or air, by passing the hot oil through a series of thin tubes exposed to a constant flow of low temperature cooling medium.

The cooling medium absorbs heat from the oil and carries it away from the cooler, where it is typically shed into the atmosphere. Common hydraulic oil cooler designs include radiator, shell and tube, Wire finned and frame types.

Oil Cooler is used for Earth Moving Machines, Like JCB, L&T POCLAIN, TATA Hitachi, BEML Komatsu, Hyundai Robex.

Gear Box Oil Cooler

In Gearboxes the oil gets heated to very high temperatures. Therefore, it is very important to implement a very efficient and highly reliable Cooling System to cool down the oil and maintain it to a stable temperature. This is the only way to make Gearboxes work properly and Gear box oil coolers are used.

Brake Oil Cooler

The fluid released from the valve is passed back to the inlet side of the pump instead of discharging into the reservoir. This save energy that would be used if the fluid had to be drawn through the fine mesh filter screen. Line pressure is too great for the converter, so the secondary regulator acts as a pressure reducer. A portion of the fluid returning from the converter passes to an Brake oil cooler that provides low pressure lubrication of the gear box.

Inter Coolers

An intercooler is any mechanical device used to cool a fluid, including liquids or gases, between stages of a multi-stage heating process, typically a heat exchanger that removes waste heat in a gas compressor. They are used in many applications, including air compressors, air conditioners, refrigerators, and gas turbines Intercoolers increase the efficiency of the induction system by reducing induction air heat created by the supercharger or turbocharger and promoting more thorough combustion. This removes the heat of compression (i.e., the temperature rise) that occurs in any gas when its pressure is raised or its unit mass per unit volume (density) is increased.

After Coolers

An aftercooler was the cooler whose outlet fed the engine. Some systems had a cockpit control for opening or closing a damper to the intercooler/aftercooler, providing another way to control temperature.

Aftercoolers are heat exchangers for cooling the discharge from a air compressor. They use either air or water and are an effective means of removing moisture from compressed air.

Aftercoolers control the amount of water vapor in a compressed air system by condensing the water vapor into liquid form. In a distribution or process manufacturing system, liquid water can cause significant damage to the equipment that uses compressed air. An aftercooler is necessary to ensure the proper functionality of pneumatic or air handling devices that are a part of process manufacturing systems. Aftercoolers can use either air-cooled or water-cooled mechanisms.

Condensor Coils

Condenser coils usually consist of arrays of copper tubes that penetrate at right angles closely stacked aluminium plates. These plates provide a system of continous fins for enhancing air-side heat transfer.Even though air cooled condenser coils can be cooled by natural convection, they are usually installed with fans.

An evaporator is a device used to turn the liquid form of a chemical into its gaseous form. The liquid is evaporated, or vaporized, into a gas. It can also be used to remove water or other liquids from mixtures. The process of evaporation is widely used to concentrate foods and chemicals as well as salvage solvents. One of the most important applications of evaporation is in the food and beverage industry. Foods or beverages that need to last for a considerable amount of time or need to have certain consistency, like coffee, go through an evaporation step during processing

Brass Radiators

Radiators are heat exchangers used to transfer thermal energy from one medium to another for the purpose of cooling and heating. The majority of radiators are constructed to function in automobiles, buildings, and electronics. The radiator is always a source of heat to its environment, although this may be for either the purpose of heating this environment, or for cooling the fluid or coolant supplied to it, as for engine cooling

Pressure Vessels

A pressure vessel is a closed container designed to hold gases or liquids at a pressure substantially different from the ambient pressure. Pressure vessels can theoretically be almost any shape, but shapes made of sections of spheres, cylinders, and cones are usually employed. A common design is a cylinder with end caps called heads. Head shapes are frequently either hemispherical or dished. Pressure vessels are used in a variety of applications in both industry and the private sector.

Charge Air Coolers

A charge-air cooler is simply an all-encompassing term, meaning that it cools the turbo's air charge before it is routed into the engine. Usually a charge-air cooler means an air-to-air cooler where the heat is rejected using ambient air flowing through the heat exchanger, much like the engine's coolant radiator.

In general, an intercooler or aftercooler is said to be a Charge-Air Cooler.

Finned Tube Heat Exchanger

Finned Tube Heat Exchangers consist of a shell & finned tubes assembly. Fins are used to increase the effective surface area of heat exchanger tubing. Finned tubes are used when the heat transfer coefficient on the outside of the tubes is appreciably lower than that on the inside; as in heat transfer from a liquid to a gas, vapor to a gas, such as steam to air heat exchanger, thermic fluid to air heat exchanger. When an extended surface is needed on only one fluid side (such as in a gas to liquid exchanger) or when the operating pressure needs to be contained on one fluid side, a finned tube heat exchanger may be selected.

Applications of finned tube heat exchangers include Steam air heater / steam radiator, Thermic fluid air heater / thermic fluid radiator, Hot water air heater / hot water radiator, Air heater for fluid bed dryers, Air heater for spray dryers, Air heater for flash dryers and Air heater for dryers.

Marine Heat Exchanger

Marine heat exchangers are the most common way to cool a boat's/ship engine, using the lake, river or Sea water in which the boat floats. Direct cooling of the cylinders and heads by sea-water is unsatisfactory because sea water will eventually ruin the cylinder block and heads. Since this water may be corrosive the engine may be cooled by a sealed mixture of distilled/Fresh water and antifreeze.

Heat from the water-antifreeze mixture is then transferred to the Sea (or lake or river) water which flows into a heat exchanger. The water-antifreeze mixture runs through the heat exchanger dumping heat, but remaining separate from corrosive salts and chemicals found in the water the boat is floating in. If the Sea water eventually corrodes and ruins the heat exchanger it can be replaced at a fraction of the cost of replacing the engine.

U Bundle Heat Exchanger

The U-tube head (U) is a very simple design requiring a bundle of U tubes, only one tube sheet, no expansion joints, and no rear-end head at all, allowing easy removal of the bundle. The thermal stress problem is eliminated because each tube is free to expand/contract independently. One disadvantage is, individual tube replacement is not possible except in the outer rows, and an even number of tube passes is required. Some tubes are lost in the center due to HEAT EXCHANGERS 17.7 tube bend limit, and tube side mechanical cleaning of the bends is difficult. Flow-induced vibration could be a problem for tubes in the outermost row. It is the lowest-cost design because there is no need for the second tube sheet.
