Barytes, Barite or the heavy spar are the different names given to the same mineral having composition BaSO4 (Barium Sulphate). Barytes has higher specific gravity and lower bulking value. It has low oil absorption and it has high resistance to acids and alkalies.

Calcite is the most common form of natural Calcium Carbonate. Calcium Carbonate minerals are the most important and abundant of all sedimentary rocks. It occurs in crystalline form in white colour. It is many times associated with varying proportion of Magnesium Carbonate.

It is one the most popular Extender for Emulsion paint (exterior & interior), dry distempers, powder coating. Both the coated and uncoated Calcite is used in Master batches (PP and LDPE), PVC pipes, PVC cables and also used in pencil Erasers.
It used in manufacture of Calcium chemicals.

Dolomite is a double carbonate of Magnesium and Calcium (CaCO3. MgCO3) Theoritically, it contains 21.7 MgO and 30.4 % CaCO3 and the remaining being CO2. How ever in nature much variation takes place in the composition. It is sedimentary origin and is supposed to have been formed due to alteration of Calcium Carbonate sediments or rocks, by seawater rich in magnesia.

Red Oxide is essentially Fe2O3 of natural origin. It has many applications in industry due to its excellent quality. The most important characteristic of natural oxide is its stability under all practical conditions. It is not substantially affected chemically or physically by light, humidity, alkalis or weak acids.  The iron oxide pigments are non reactive with solvent, oils and resins. They are invariably characterised by the case with which they can be dispersed in all Vehicles (oils, resins, water systems).

The important ores of Manganese Dioxide (pyrolusite) (MnO2), Psilomelane (MnO2. H2O) These Minerals are usually found associated with various other constituents like iron, silica, alumina, magnesium, phosphorous and sulphur.

It is used for manufacture of Potassium Permanganate, Manganese Sulphate and other Manganese Salts, to produce intermediate for manufacturing Vitamin ‘E’.

It is also used in Steel industry, welding Electrodes, Water purification plant, Welding flux mixture, as an oxidizing agent in the manufacture of Dyes.

Activated Manganese Dioxide is used to make Activated Manganese Dioxide Paste for the use in Polysulfide Sealant. It acts as “Accelerator” and helps to ‘set’ when mixed with “Base” component. It forms rubberized mass and helps to seal the joints and gap.

China Clay falls under Kaolinite group of clays. It is naturally occurring "Hydrated Aluminum Silicate" having the usual compositions Al2O3  2SiO2 2H2O. 
The grading of the material is primarily done on the basis of the whiteness. The important properties of China Clay are that it has good  plasticity , does  not  swell  in  water, withstand  high temperature ( upto 1300°C and even above ) and is a non-conductor of  electricity.

In Paint industry, China Clay imparts toughness to coatings and reinforce the film, imparts good brushing and leveling characteristic.

It is also used in Paper, Ceramics, Pesticides, Rubber.

Steatite, Talc, French chalk or Soapstone - is chemically a hydrous Magnesium silicate with a basic formula of 3MgO 4SiO2  H2O. It is one of the softest minerals and has characteristic soapy feel. The colour of the material varies from pure white to silvery white, grey, green and yellow.

It is used for manufacture of Metal Primers, Cement Primers, Latex Paints, Decorative Paints, and Emulsion Paints, etc.

It is used as reinforcing filler in Poly Propylene (PP), Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) etc.             

As a filler in Paper, it gives opacity, smoothness and brightness to the paper. It is also used as loading material.

Khadi Powder is used in textile printing to give a white embossing effect-commonly known in India as "Khadi" printing. HMP KHADI POWDER is specifically formulated to achieve the partial to complete replacement of Titanium Dioxide (Anatase) by offering optimum whiteness and coverage in textile printing on any type of fabrics such as Cotton, Polyester, Hosiery or blends.

Magnesite is a carbonate of Magnesium (MgCO3), which is known as "Raw magnesite". This Raw Material as such is not used in any Industry except in Chemical Industry in small quantity. Magnesite when heated to 800°C to 1000°C all the CO2content in it is driven off, the residue so obtained is known as Calcined Magnesite (MgO).

It is used for manufacture of refractory bricks largely used in steel industry. It is also a valuable basic refractory for use in electric furnaces, rotary cement kilns or for purpose which requires a basic lining capable of withstanding a high temperature.
The most important use is the manufacture of Oxychloride or Sorel Cement.
It is used in the manufacture of Epsom Salt (MgSO4).

Mica is a Potassium Alumina Silicate (K2O. Al2O3. SiO2). Group of silicate minerals composed of varying amounts of aluminium, potassium, magnesium, iron and water.

Silicon occurs abundantly in nature in the form of oxide (Silica - SiO2) and forms the main constituent of earth. It is very hard and abrasive in nature.

Silica Extender due to the particle shape, the large particle size and low oil absorption are very helpful in manufacture of wood filler, it is most suitable to fill the pores in open grain woods.
Silica extenders are most inert to acids and alkalies, which makes it useful in coatings to give toughness and abrasion resistance.

Due to excellent wearing resistance, it is used in Traffic Paint for Making Roadway.
Ultrafine (UF) grade is also widely used in Exterior Paint.                                 
It is the basic raw material used in manufacture of glass.
RF grade is used in construction chemical, buffing compound.

Whiting/Chalk is naturally occurring amorphous variety of Calcium Carbonate. It is formed by deposition of Shells and marine animals.
