Characteristics This integrated ASB challenge series one-step stretch blow-molding machine performs both preform injection molding and blow molding. These are the smallest economical range of machines in the one-step process. With a compact body they are ideal for small capacity production or a wide range of products, molding small containers, and test shots. Product Shape PET containers in a wide variety of shapes and sizes with containers of other resins including PC, PP. Application PET containers for beverages (fruit juice, tea leaves, mineral water, etc.), edible oils, toiletries, soaps, detergents and containers of other resins including PC and PP.

The 70DPW is ideal for mass production of narrow neck containers.

Heat Stabilized PET

In broad terms there are two methods for producing heat stabilized bottles, the 
Single Blow and the Double Blow systems :

Single Blow

The Single  Blow  technique can be applied on a conventional   One-Step   ASB 
machine. The PET  container  is  blown inside  a heated blow mold. This  raises
the level of crystallinity of the PET, and  also  relaxes  some  of   the  stresses
induced in the PET by the stretching process so that the amount by which the 
bottles shrink when hot filled is reduced.

The  temperature  of  the  mold  is  limited by the need to ensure that  bottles 
on leaving the blow mold are rigid & will not be subject  to   deformation. Even
using special in-mold cooling systems, "single blow" methods   can  only   raise 
service temperatures to about 83°C (after storage).

Preform molding machines: PM Series Typically a high volume Two-Step PET bottle production line requires significant investment in large-scale preform injection molding machines and a team of highly skilled personnel to operate the system. Generally, economic considerations for the investment size force smaller Two-Step operations to purchase preforms from outside.
With the launch of ASB’s PM Series preform molding machines, the Two-Step bottle producer now has a cost-effective alternative to purchasing preforms. The new PM Series machines are in keeping with ASB’s philosophy of competitive pricing, are very compact for their output and the molds are designed for easy changeover to provide added flexibility. Together with the NB Series reheat blow-molding machine, or the HSO hot fill bottle molding machine, the PM Series machines are ideal to form an integrated PET bottle production line.
 

Characteristics This Two-Step reheat blow molding machine outputs finished bottles. Consisting of the blow module from the One-Step mass production PB Series, it is a blow molding machine combining excellent product stability with high economy. Heater and blow systems are modular to assure common specifications throughout the series, providing even better cost performance ratios. When used together with the PM Series preform molding machines, the result is an integrated production line that delivers defect-free, beautiful PET containers.
