However, this wasn't always the case. Since our humble beginnings back in 1982, we have worked hard to get to where we are today and have had to embrace every opportunity that has come our way. Luckily, a combination of passion, grit and determination signifies that our business has not only grown, it has truly flourished. And now, we are proud to be able to say that we have achieved our number one goal - to be the very best at what we do.

Submersible pumps might not be everyone's idea of excitement, but for us they are just that. In 1982 we decided we wanted Shakti Pumps to become an internationally-known name in the manufacture of stainless steel submersible pumps and motors. And do you know what? We did it. More recently, we have also branched out into solar-powered pumps and we're enjoying watching that part of the business grow too.
