The year 1991 saw the opening up of the till then conservative Indian industrial sector. New economic and industrial policies were formulated and the nation embarked upon a journey towards liberalization, industrialization and progress. High technology industries appeared on the Indian industrial zone. Then the need was felt for effective environmental protection and preservation systems to supplement this journey towards progress.
