Facilities

PETE - Hammond Power Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is located in the spacious Industrial Development Area at Pashammailaram about 35 km, from Hyderabad close to Mumbai highway, India.

This is an ideal place for manufacture of Transformers, as the average humidity is about 30%. The factory is located in an area of about 150,000 sft of land with 75,000 sft built up area with a good facility of 60 Ton, 20 Ton & 10 Ton EOT Cranes.

PETE - HPS has the infrastructure and modern facilities to manufacture Power Transformers upto 50 MVA 132 KV class.

Special Processes for better Quality

Winding is carried out in a controlled environment, so that dust contamination is eliminated. Special Rooms with pressurized clean air blowers are provided for achieving better Quality Parameters which enhance the life of the Transformers.

Windings are prestressed with Hydraulic Jacks, before oven drying treatment, thus avoiding failure.

Nylon slings are used to handle for safe operation of core-coil assemblies. Processing of core and coil assembly in vacuum oven which accurately controls the moisture retention in the insulation.

Our Testing Practices

PETE - Hammond Power Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has a full fledged testing facility with an array of high precision test equipment to conduct stage by stage testing and final testing of Transformers upto 50 MVA 132 KV Class as per IS 2026, IS 11171, BS - 171, IEC-76 specifications.

In house Temp Rise test can be conducted up to 50 MVA Zero Sequence Impedance, Harmonics, Separate Voltage tests conducted as per IS 2026 / IEC - 76 standards.

Type testing of Transformers is done at CPRI, Bangalore, Bhopal and Hyderabad.
