Bakul Aromatics and Chemicals Limited was established in 1975, with the aim of developing aromatic and specialty chemical compounds. The initial manufacturing facilities were located in Vashi, Maharashtra. In 1984, a newly expanded facility was created in Patalganga, Maharashtra spread over 11,000 m2 with state-of-the art manufacturing capabilities for API and intermediates. In 1986, manufacturing capabilities were expanded to include a facility in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Bakul Finechem Research Centre, located in Mumbai was established in 1975, with the goal of developing efficient synthetic routes for manufacturing APIs and intermediates.
Bakul Pharma Private Limited was established in 1997 and has manufacturing facilities in Ankleshwar, Gujarat including a multi-purpose production plant.
