We utilize state of the art Computer Aided Design (CAD) software packages, like AutoCAD in addition to 3D tools like SolidWorks and Logo Press. In order to support our precision metal stamping operations, we have facilities in-house for surface grinding, sinker EDM, programmable CNC centers and Sodick Wire Cut Machine.

Our metal stamping process uses the best presses for manual and progressive tooling. The brands we use include Schuler, Yamada Dobby, Micron and Kyori with capacities from 5 MT to 160MT. We have the capability to process ferrous and non-ferrous material from .035mm to 10mm thick.

We offer precision stamping services of the following types:

Single-stage tooling: In-house tooling capabilities include engineering a solid model design, CAM packages for linkage to CAD, and modern CNC machining on various equipment, grinding and Wire EDM techniques to produce carbide and steel as well as ceramic tooling designed to meet exacting specification.
Progressive: Metal assembly in the progressive die, such as rivet-type contact insertion, staking, and mixed metal assembly for spring and terminal assemblies, as well as circuit and terminal assemblies.
Prototypes: In-house design and manufacture of prototype tooling for tight-tolerance precision metal stamped components as well as larger components such as enclosures and assemblies, and short run volumes. In-house ability for prototype and low volume over molded or mold and assemble plastic/metal components.

Ferrous: Cold Rolled Steel, Hot Rolled Steel, Electro-Galvanized Steel (EG), Pre-Tinned Coated Steel, Stainless Steel.

Non Ferrous: Aluminum, Beryllium Cu, Brass, Copper, Phosphorus Bronze, Nickel Silver and other Special Copper Alloys

Arcotech also offers a wide range of value added services inclusive of welding, riveting, tapping and mechanical assembly. We have also included several secondary precision metal forming and joining operations in order to reduce costs.
